What people check an address for

Before you send

A typo or a dead domain bounces, and bounces hurt sender reputation. Catch them before they reach your mailing platform.

Sign-up quality

Spot throwaway addresses and role mailboxes like info@ that rarely belong to a single person.

Outreach lists

See which domains actually publish mail servers, and which suggested corrections are worth a second look.

Validate a whole list

This page checks one address at a time. The same checks run in bulk in the Bulk Email Validator Actor: paste or upload a list and get a verdict, reason, MX hosts and typo suggestion for each address as JSON or CSV. You pay only for addresses that get a definitive verdict.

Frequently asked questions

Is this email checker free?

Yes. No account and no card. Each network gets a daily allowance (60 checks) so the tool stays free for everyone, and results are cached for an hour.

Does it tell me if the mailbox really exists?

No, and no honest tool can do that reliably. It checks that the address is well-formed, that the domain exists and publishes mail servers (MX records), and whether the domain is a known disposable service, a free provider or a likely typo. It does not connect to the mail server or send a message, so a deliverable verdict means the domain can receive mail, not that the person's inbox is active.

What do deliverable, risky and undeliverable mean?

Deliverable: valid syntax and the domain accepts mail. Risky: the domain accepts mail but the address looks like a disposable service, a likely typo (gmial.com), a role address (info@, sales@) or relies on an A-record fallback. Undeliverable: the domain does not exist or publishes no mail server. Invalid: the address is malformed.

How does it detect disposable email addresses?

It matches the domain against a hand-maintained list of well-known throwaway services (Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, YOPmail and similar). The list is a best-effort signal, not an exhaustive database: new disposable domains appear daily.

Do you store the addresses I check?

We don't keep a log of addresses or build a list from them. For speed, the result for an address is held in a short-lived edge cache for an hour, then discarded. Only the domain is looked up in DNS; nothing is sent to the address.

Can I check a whole list?

Not here. The Bulk Email Validator on the Apify Store takes lists and returns the same verdicts at $0.80 per 1,000 addresses; invalid syntax, duplicates and inconclusive DNS lookups are free.
