What people use it for
After a release
See whether the newest version is rated worse than the one before, and read the 1 star reviews that mention it.
Competitor research
Check what users of a competing app keep complaining about, then build or market around the gap.
Support triage
Spot the words that keep coming up in negative reviews (crash, login, subscription) before you read them one by one.
Need more than 150 reviews?
This page reads the 150 most recent reviews of one app in one country. The App Store Reviews Scraper reads up to 500 per app and country, takes several apps and countries per run, filters by star rating, keyword and date before you pay, and exports JSON, CSV or Excel. The same data is available from the Siftwright API.

Frequently asked questions
Is this App Store review analyzer free?
Yes. No account and no card. Each person gets 15 free runs a day (shared with our other free tools) and the tool has a daily capacity, so it stays free for everyone. Results are cached for 30 minutes.
How many reviews does it read?
The 150 most recent written reviews of the app in the country you pick, which usually covers the last few days for a popular app and weeks or months for a small one. The numbers describe recent sentiment, not the app's lifetime rating. The scraper reads up to 500 per app and country.
Why does my average differ from the rating in the App Store?
The App Store's headline rating counts every star rating ever left, including ratings with no written review. This tool averages only the recent written reviews it read, so a bad week or a new release shows up much faster than it does in Apple's number.
How are the complaint themes found?
It counts the words that appear most often in the 1 and 2 star reviews of the sample, ignoring common filler words. A word must show up in at least three negative reviews to be listed. It is a quick signal for what to read first, not a sentiment model.
Does it cover Google Play?
No. This tool reads Apple's App Store only, one country at a time. Reviews are per-country: change the country menu to read another storefront.
Can I get more reviews, or many countries and apps at once?
Yes, with the App Store Reviews Scraper Actor or the /v1/app-store-reviews API: several apps and countries per run, star, keyword and date filters applied before you pay, $0.10 per 1,000 reviews.
Where does the data come from?
Apple's public customer-reviews feed, the one that powers App Store pages, read by our App Store Reviews Scraper Actor. Nothing is scraped from behind a login, and review text is shown as published.
